papier-peint-foret-bouleaux
Birch Forest Wall Mural – Made to Measure

A birch wall mural is made of slim, repeated trunks that draw the eye upwards: a very versatile tree design, because it has no centre and no subject to crop. This collection brings together 4 designs of birch wall murals, also searched for as ‘tree wallpaper’ or ‘tree wall mural’, custom printed to the exact dimensions of your wall, to the centimetre: grey and ochre trunks painted in an abstract style, a forest of white birches on a very light background, watercolour blue birches with foliage, birches and deer with pine cones.

Where to hang it? In a hallway or entrance, slim, tightly packed trunks add height and can be appreciated up close. Behind a sofa, they make a structured backdrop that does not compete with what you place in front. In a bedroom, white birches make the room feel larger and watercolour blue ones freshen it up. One rule: trunks should run from floor to ceiling, not be cut off halfway up by a piece of furniture. For a forest with more depth, see the Pine and Fir Forest and the ink firs and deer designs; for a child’s room, the Forest Animals; and the whole Jungle & Nature collection.

From the first design to the last, you will find: grey and ochre birch trunks in abstract painting, a forest of white birches, a forest of watercolour blue birches. On a low wall, choose slim trunks rather than three large ones.

Will the trunks be cut off? No: the design is cropped to the exact height and width of your wall, and printed in numbered panels that are hung edge to edge. Measure the height at three points (older walls are not always straight) and keep the largest.

Which materials work around it? Wood, linen, stone, green plants. Avoid glossy lacquered furniture and saturated colours facing the design. Printed colours may differ slightly from your screen: the 30 × 20 cm sample for 3 € lets you judge them in the room itself.

Which finish should I choose? Smooth non-woven for the sharpest rendering, textured for a slight relief, self-adhesive for hanging without paste (smooth, clean, dry wall; repositionable while you hang it).

To choose the right tree for your room, read our guide to birch, forest and fir wall murals.

abstract animals animal soothing calming watercolour watercolor beige white blue birch birches branches colourful colorful cream soft gentle child children kids kid foliage leaves flowery floral forest woodland grey gray light illustration rabbits bunnies modern nature birdhouses nest boxes nordic ochre birds orange orangey pastel painting paint pink rose without scandinavian touches hints trunks tree green vertical minimal clean
